In case you'd like to read what we'll be studying in Sunday School this week, we'll be going over Psalm 51. We're going to see how to "fix" things once we "blow" it!
Also, if you'd like to read the Romans passages for Tuesday night or Wednesday night this week, we'll be going over the last half of Romans 3...discussing the "good news" after the reality of the first two chapters.

Pine Cove Parent Meeting Announced!
On Sunday morning, October 5, we'll have a meeting for all those parents who have children going to Pine Cove for our fall retreat. It'll start at 10:15AM and be completed by 10:40AM...and we'll make sure to give you all the information you need in order for you child to have the best possible weekend at Pine Cove Timbers camp!
If you can't make the meeting, we'll still be able to get the information to you electronically and we'll post it here, but there's a lot of value in being there so you can interact with our staff as well as hear what other parents are wanting to know!

Pine Cove Retreat Waiting List Established, 9/19
Hi Parents!
Just wanted to let you know that we've sold out of our allotment of available spots for our 12th Pine Cove Fall Retreat on October 10-12, 2008.
Hope is not lost, however!
You can simply sign up using the lime-green forms available in Sunday School or at CBC's receptionist desk and making the $50 deposit. In the past, we've be able to purchase unused spots from other churches who don't sell theirs...and since the waiting list will be first-come, first-served, (all forms should be handed to Brent directly on Sunday/Tuesday, or to Trevor on Wednesday) you might want to get them in ASAP!
And, since the early-bird sign up has passed, the total payment has been raised to $120 per student.
